Product Overview
A by-product recovered during the physical refining (deodorisation) of palm kernel oil, consisting mainly of free fatty acids together with some neutral oil and minor components. It is the lauric-chain analogue of palm oil's PFAD.
Applications & Uses
Feedstock for C12–C14 fatty alcohols and surfactants, soap and fatty-acid manufacture, animal-feed energy fat, oleochemical and biodiesel feedstock.
