Product Overview
A saturated fourteen-carbon fatty acid co-produced with lauric acid when palm kernel oil fatty acids are split and fractionally distilled. It is the second most abundant fatty acid in PKO after lauric acid.
Applications & Uses
Cosmetics and personal-care cleansers, shaving and foaming soaps, emollient esters such as isopropyl myristate, emulsifiers and surfactants.
